The Second Overtone console table is inspired by the 3:2 vibrational frequency ratio—known in music as the second overtone—and visualized through parabolic curves. The base, shaped and carved was ebonized to a rich black. The top slab, salvaged from a tree marked by spalting and mineral-stained grain, reveals a history of struggle rendered in wildly beautiful textures. Elevated on three bronze stand-offs, it appears as an offering—grounded in material, lifted by intention, and resonant with the enduring harmony of the natural world.
