A pair of Special Swett Nightstands with a “Kornblut” base by Mira Nakashima.

This paired example is particularly interesting as it features a case typical of the 1960s Swett Nightstand design while swapping the traditional base for that of a Kornblut Case, another 1960s Nakashima design.

Each stand features an integrated drawer and a large storage compartment.

The pair of nightstands also feature Nakashima’s signature exposed, hand-worked dovetail joinery along the juncture of the top and sides of each case.
