An Oval Minguren I Dining Table by Mira Nakashima which features a cherry top joined by three rosewood butterflies. The table’s ovular top form is highly unique in the vernacular of both George and Mira Nakashima.

Additionally, the unique top’s distinction is further heightened by interaction of the center seam which unites the sap edges of each slab.

Designed c. 1965, the Minguren I Table is noted as “one of the most remarkably balanced of Nakashima’s designs” (‘George Nakashima Full Circle’, Derek E. Ostergard, 1989, p.128).
