About this Arthur Espenet Carpenter Credenza

This classic Credenza is handcrafted by Arthur Espenet Carpenter from beautiful cuts of California Walnut. In an executive office, the credenza is an extension of the workspace that often serves as a secondary focal point, adding to the functionality and the aesthetic of the room. It embodies a blend of sophistication, efficiency, and style.

As such, this piece was originally designed to sit flush with a wall behind Espenet Carpenter’s accompanying piece, the Executive Desk, in order to facilitate an extended work surface. This credenza features a file drawer, which can hold both legal and letter-sized files, and cabinets with pull out shelving.

The Utilitarian Works of Arthur Espenet Carpenter

Arthur Espenet Carpenter’s steadfast commitment to creating useful and functional pieces truly shines through in this Credenza. Created for utility, the functional features in this piece make it a staple in the executive office for which it is intended.

Espenet Carpenter is known for creating stylish pieces that do not compromise functionality, a trait that his work embodied and that he taught to over 250 apprentices throughout his life. These pieces are made to create comfort, convenience, and organization for their owners, and are designed with durability and usage in mind.
