Born in Syracuse, NY in 1951, Eric Allen's life story is one of inspiration and passion. From the early days of growing up in the scenic terrains of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to graduating with honors from Hamilton College in 1973, Eric's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Over the years, he built a multifaceted career that spanned across sectors such as foreign airlines and the women's clothing manufacturing industry. His experiences, though diverse, imbued in him a unique perspective that he later channeled into his true calling: woodworking. Eric's approach to woodworking is best described as whimsical and organic. He masterfully blurs the lines between practicality and art. While his free-form spoons, bowls, and sculptures may at first seem functional, a closer look reveals them to be intricate works of art, designed to be displayed and admired.
