Demonstrating Worth’s biomorphic, fluid vocabulary, the console presents a sweeping, curvilinear form which supports two ovular glass tops. The work highlights Worth’s mastery of stack laminate construction and sophisticated ability to bring imaginative forms to fruition through sophisticated understanding of material and structure.

Robert Worth was a graduate of the George School in 1959. He continued his education at Rochester Institute of Technology with a Masters of Fine Art from the School of American Craft in 1966. He studied under Wendell Castle, credited with being the father of the art furniture movement.
