Branded twice to underside ‘Hugo França’
A Stool by renowned Brazilian woodworker Hugo França. Made of Pequi, a hardwood native to Brazil, França’s stool is an organic celebration of the tree’s natural form and structure. In particular, França transforms root structures, trunks, and other parts of trees that are oft deemed unusable.
In a tripod form, the work spans in an asymmetric stance following the organicism of the piece of Pequi utilized.
