One of the most important objects of the 20th Century! This is the first Music Stand made by Wharton Esherick. It was commissioned by Rose Rubinson in 1951 and seleceted for exhibition at the Brussels Worlds Fair in 1958 - the first world's fair at which the work of American designer/craftsmen was introduced to a European audience.
